Aurélio Agostinho also called for Santo Agostinho, was born on November 13 in 354, at Tagaste, lacated at Northern Africa. His father called Patrício, and his mother called Mônica, how turned saint.

When he is 17 years old, he traveled to Cartago, where during three years he studied and read books a lot. His favorite book is “Hortênsio”, whote for Cícero.

When he is 20 years old, he back to Tagaste, where he turned a theacher, and he met agirl, with who had a son, called Adeodato.

Santo Agostinho worked with a  lot of things, like: bishop, writer, theologian,philosopher, latin priest and worked in the catholic church. Agostinho is very importantto the expansion  the Christianity at the Occident.

He really likes to do the things that he want, and likes a lot teach other person. He didhis work very well, and teach us a lot of things, but especially about the philosophy.And he wrote a lot of books and sermons,like the “A cidade de Deus”. And many thoughts and teachings we use all day in our lives.

He died on August 28, 430 at Hipona, located at Northern Africa too. But until now, weuse the things that he discovered and teach us.
